Awesome Paleo Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Why is there an increase in disease from gluten in the last 50 years? Franken Wheat (scientifically engineered food product developed in the last 50 years) containing super starch and containing super gluten is creating inflammation in the body. And in addition to a host of inflammatory and chronic diseases caused by gluten, it causes obesity and diabetes. This doesn't need to happen! By making simple changes in your diet, you can be healthy. How you ask?

Cauliflower!

I never really cared for Cauliflower, I would eat it steamed or fresh (dipped in a dressing), but I could easily do with OUT it!

But when I discovered using Roasted Cauliflower in place of “Spaghetti” I fell in LOVE with Cauliflower and can’t seem to get enough of it. Now I use Roasted Cauliflower in place of Rice, Pasta, and Potatoes.

I never really thought it would have much nutritional value, but I was so wrong… Cauliflower is a Super Food!

Paleo Cauliflower Pizza Crust is the base for an Extremely healthy dinner and so easy to prepare.

Our Favorite Pizza toppings are homemade pizza sauce (with lots of garlic), Jimmy Dean’s Sausage, mushrooms, olives, and fresh spinach all topped with mozzarella. And this Pizza crust is so easy to spread out with your hands!

Here is a short video I found...

Use the toppings your Family and Friends enjoy!

Paleo Cauliflower Pizza Crust:

Preheat oven to 350°

One head Cauliflower “Riced” using a food processor, but I use a cheese grater
1 Lg. Egg, beaten
1 cup Mozzarella, shredded
3 T. Olive Oil… 1 T. for greasing your pan
2-6 Cloves Garlic, chopped… I love garlic :)
1 t. Basil
1 t. Oregano
½ t. Paprika
½ t. Garlic granules
½ t. Salt (or to taste)

Rice the Cauliflower and place in a glass pie pan. Microwave for 8 minutes OR bake on a cookie sheet for 12 minutes and let cool.

After the Cauliflower cools, beat an egg and mix in along with 1 cup shredded mozzarella, 2 T. olive oil, and the rest of the ingredients, mixing until well combined.

Spread onto a large cookie sheet or pizza pan (it spreads easily using your palms and shaping with your fingers) and bake for 20 minutes, rotating ½ way, depending on your oven.

While your crust is baking, prepare your toppings!

When you take your Cauliflower pizza crust out of the oven, place your cooked meats, favorite toppings, and more mozzarella, then place back in the oven and bake until cheese is melted, about 7 to 10 minutes.

You won’t be able to hold a slice in your hand, it will have to go onto your plate, but it is so yummy!
